Check Before Click is an interactive 2D game that teaches users how to recognize and avoid fake websites, phishing scams, and other online threats.

Through engaging challenges and real-world scenarios, players learn essential cybersecurity skills to stay safe online. Originally created for a competition, the game has now been improved with additional features.

Install instructions

  1. Download the Game:
    Click the download link to download the zip file containing the game.
  2. Extract the Zip File:
    Once the file is downloaded, right-click on the zip file and select "Extract All..." or use any file extraction tool to unzip the contents.
  3. Locate the Game File:
    After extraction, find the file named Check Before Click.exe in the folder.
  4. Run the Game:
    Double-click on Check Before Click.exe to start the game.
  5. Required Software (If you have any errors):
    • Ensure you have the .NET Framework. You can download it from the official Microsoft website.
  6. Enjoy the Game:
    Once the game is running, enjoy playing Check Before Click and learn how to identify and avoid online threats!
